Luxury Market Update

It is hard to believe that we are already half way through 2015!  What a busy year it has been thus far and Casey Key’s real estate market is still on track to meet or exceed 2014’s sales figures.  Year to date, we have had 12 single family homes sales and 2 vacant land sales on the key, which is slightly higher than 2014 for the same time period.

However, this year, the higher end of the market continues to make significant strides.  During this same time period in 2014, Casey Key home sale prices ranged from $1.4 million to $2.94 million.  Sale prices for 2015 YTD range from $860,000 to just over $5.3 million, with 4 of the 12 sales being above $4 million and 1 more single family home pending sale with a list price above $5.5 million.  Even vacant land is seeing large numbers, with one gulf to bay parcel selling at full price, $3.7 million to a developer.
