Her previous sales and marketing-related careers at Lotus Development Corporation and Beacham Publishing, both in Washington, D.C., were the successful precursors of her passion for working with people to achieve their real estate goals. Born in Mississippi, Deborah majored in music at the University of Southern Mississippi. Deborah and her husband of 28 years, Walton, moved to Casey Key in 1994 from Washington, D.C. where they lived for 12 years. Deborah is intimately familiar with Casey Key properties and lifestyle. She is a passionate advocate for children and enjoys traveling, playing her harpsichord, and taking long walks on the beach with Walton, and their recently adopted Standard Poodles, Jaclyne and Wilson. Always proud to give back to the community that she cherishes so much, Deborah supports Girls Inc, Boys and Girls Clubs of Sarasota County, the Warren Backpack program, Asolo Rep, The Players Theater, and is immediate past president of Key Chorale, Sarasota’s 120-voice chorus. She currently serves on the board of La Musica and works with the Realtors for Kids Program of The United Way of Sarasota County, where she has helped raise over $28,000 for the Emergency Childcare Fund since becoming involved in 2008.
